While I was working in Photoshop, I accidentally found a very cool shortcut which allows you to drag the inactive selection around. Have you ever tried to make a precise rectangle selection, but dragged at the wrong position, and you had to release your mouse and re-drag again? First of all, thanks to Andrew, from Sumo, for offering me an Omni beanbag. When Andrew offered me "the world’s most comfortable product", the Sumo Omni, I thought he was joking. So I went to their website to do some research about this Omni product. I found out that Omni has been published in many famous places like TechTV, Globe & Mail, Toronto Star, HGTV, and even Playboy Magazine. Since I was in need of a trendy lounge chair for my new apartment, I accepted the offer. It took me a while before I finally decided to choose a color, because there are too many beautiful colors available. After two months of hard work and learning, N.Design Phoenix theme is finally live! N.Design Studio is now powered by WordPress as a blogging and content management tool (CMS). This new design is much better in term of layout and coding. It is actually the fifth version of N.Design Studio. After the implementation of WordPress, you should notice some of the URLs and paths on this site are different. To prevent getting 404 File Not Found error (traffic coming from links, bookmarks and search engines), I used this .htaccess 301 redirect trick I found. This way is better than meta refresh or redirect tag because there is no delay as the browser reads the .htaccess file first. Here I just want to give a big thanks to WordPress and all its contributors. WordPress has made my life so much easier. I remember back in the older version when I was using static HTML pages, it was such a pain to update my site. Every time I updated my site, I needed to replace all HTML files on the server and eventually I got tired updating my site. So I went around search for a good content management system (CMS) and I found WordPress! It is such a great blogging and simple CMS tool. Read on…
