I’m very excited to announce that I have found a new host. First, I would like to thank ImHosted for the hosting sponsorship. If you are looking for a host, give them a try. They have very good shared hosting plans. Second, I need to give a big thanks to John at DreamTemplate, who setup the sponsorship and helped me to transfer my sites to the new server. I notice my sites load faster now since I’m on a dedicated server. I received several emails regarding the "404 file found" errors. I apologize for this because I missed a folder while transferring the files. If you were trying to download stuffs from my site, please try again. All files should be available now. If you find any other bugs, please send me an email. Also, I lost a couple comments during DNS transfer. If you have posted a comment and can’t find it, please post again. Read on…

I’m looking for a better hosting company to host my sites. Do you have any good ones to recommend? This site and Best Web Gallery are hosting at Media Temple, 512mb dedicated-virtual server. Lately, my sites have been down almost every day. I’m getting very frustrated with Media Temple and I want to move out. I’m tired of restarting my server (VPS) everyday. Read on…

After I released the CSS Dock Menu, a lot of people have asked me how to implement it into iTheme. I have put them together. Unfortunately, CSS Dock Menu does not work properly with iTheme in Mac Safari. It works in Internet Explorer, Opera and Firefox. There are some bugs with Mac Safari, it doesn’t animate properly. Since it is not fully compatible with all browsers yet, I’m not going to release a public download. Maybe you can download the beta version and help me to sort it out. Read on…

Numbers of people have asked if iTheme compatible with the latest release WordPress 2.2. The answer is yes. I have tested iTheme with WordPress 2.2 on Internet Explorer, FireFox, Safari, and Opera. I also upgraded my site and the WordPress Demo to version 2.2. Fortunately, all my WordPress themes are working. I received one email regarding the iTheme sidebar does not display properly with WordPress 2.2. It could be Javascript conflicts between the drag & drop Javascript and your Javascript. Double check your Javascript codes. Also, some WordPress plugins insert Javascript into your theme that might cause conflicts.

Most of you should probably notice there are some Internet Explorer 6 bugs (CSS rendering issues) in my iTheme. I finally fixed those IE6 bugs by re-designing the theme and CSS styles. Instead of displaying the file icon of each post, it is now displaying the date in a calendar icon, which is very similar to GlossyBlue theme. Also the comment list is now using gray background color instead of color stroke. Download the updated iTheme or preview WordPress Demo. Read on…

As you might have noticed that my site is loading very slow today and sometime not even available. This is because someone submitted my iTheme (WordPress theme) to Digg. The good news: I was dugg, but the news: my site was completely down last night for couple hours. If you were on my site last night, you probably had experienced the downtime. This is known as the "Digg effect". Digg effect is "the term given to the phenomenon of a popular website linking to a smaller site, causing the smaller site to slow down or even temporarily close due to the increased traffic." Read on…
