iTheme

Many people have been waiting for this WordPress theme for a while and I’m very proud that iTheme has finally released. iTheme is a WordPress theme that is specially designed for the Mac OS lovers. The best part about this theme is the customizable sidebar. You can drag & drop each box to rearrange the way you like or simply collapse it to hide the content you don’t want to see. It will store the state of each box in a cookie, this means it will remember your preference next time you come back. Check out my WordPress Demo to preview. Download iTheme now and let me know me your feedbacks. This is an initial release, comments and suggestions are welcome to post here. Read on…

WordPress 2.1 Ella Released

As a big fan of WordPress, I’m very excited to hear the new release of WordPress 2.1 Ella. Although I haven’t upgraded yet, but it seems like they’ve added a lot of new features and fixed a lot of bugs. One of my favorite new features is now you can set the Pages to be drafts, or private. The new Page option is extremely useful for people who use WordPress as a CMS tool because it allows you to preview the page before publishing it. Now you can backup a Page by turning it to private rather deleting it. Another great feature is now you can set any Page to be your front page, and put the latest posts somewhere else. Version 2.1 also incorporated more AJAX which makes your site maintenance more faster and fascinating. I will definitely upgrade to 2.1 and post more thoughts soon. Download the latest version of WordPress at http://wordpress.org/download. If you have upgraded already, please share your thoughts here.
