Product Review: SumoSac

Filed in: Reviews Jump to comments

SumoSac Once again Sumo Lounge has launched another ingenious product: the SumoSac (super size bean bag). I received a SumoSac couple weeks ago for product review and I gotta tell you, it is one of the most comfortable bean-bag chair I have ever sat in. The SumoSac is a large suede sac filled with shredded furniture grade urethane foam. In addition to its comfort, the Sumosac is stylish and practical. The size of the sac is more than enough space to accommodate two people simultaneously, which is great for playing video games or just chilling with friends. The suede cover is soft and comfy, unlike the nylon cover of the Omni I got a while back. Best of all, it is removable so cleaning is not problem at all. For more details please visit their website.

Excellent product! For european visitors, they can look for a fatboy which is nearly excactly the same idea.

By the way, Nick, I have to say you are one of the greatest designer I follow on Internet. I am impressed!

My family has something similar that an aunt made for us kids 20+ years ago, and it’s great. The only problem now is that there is a bit of an argument of who lays claim to “Big Blue” since all the kids are grown up. I suppose I can buy off my brother and sister with one of these!

This is a little dubious Nick… i mean, i’m sure it’s a lovely product, but you’re coming across a little sycophantic, especially since this has been your first post in about 3 months. but maybe i’m being a little harsh because, damn you, now i want one!

Sumo, indeed! That thing looks monstrous. I haven’t heard of it until now. My old bean-bag chair wore out a few years ago, this sumo thing looks like it might just replace it. Good timing.
