Trendy Omni Beanbag
September 25th, 2006 Filed in: Reviews Jump to commentsFirst of all, thanks to Andrew, from Sumo, for offering me an Omni beanbag. When Andrew offered me "the world’s most comfortable product", the Sumo Omni, I thought he was joking. So I went to their website to do some research about this Omni product. I found out that Omni has been published in many famous places like TechTV, Globe & Mail, Toronto Star, HGTV, and even Playboy Magazine. Since I was in need of a trendy lounge chair for my new apartment, I accepted the offer. It took me a while before I finally decided to choose a color, because there are too many beautiful colors available. As a designer, I think Sumo did a great job with the color selection because color is everything!
Four days later, Omni arrived in my front door by FedEx courier. It was packed in a very big box (about the size of a freezer) and wrapped with a thick plastic bag. I unpacked it and my first impression was "Wow, that is a very big pillow!". I quickly jumped on it and tried many different positions. The advertisement live up to its words, it is very comfortable. The great thing is that the cover is made of nylon, so it doesn’t collect dust or pet fur. And most surprising feature is its weight, it is so light that even my three-year old nephew can drag it around easily. The Omni has became my favorite chair for playing PS2 games, watching TV, reading magazine, and surfing online.

Wow, nice, very comfy, I’d love to have one to, although I don’t actually need it, because I got 2 beds, one acting like a nice sofa for playing X360 and watching tv, and my other bed for sleeping and watching tv. life’s good.

They do look great and most people would love one. However, do not think getting one will be easy. Especially if you do not live in the US or Canada. I live in London and ordered some Omni’s weeks ago. No one from Sumo contacted me yet and I have not received my purchases yet. I then discovered despite them having a UK website, e-mail and contact number and even physical address it is all a shell and all calls are directed to Canada. Don’t bother to use their e-mail address…no one reads it….think twice before you order from the UK…
