Update: Notepad Theme Options

Notepad 1.2 is just released (added theme options). Now you add custom favicon, exclude page(s), disable dropdown menu, edit or turn off social media buttons, and add footer tracking code via the option page. Big thanks to Jon Raasch for coding the option page. Also, all strings in the theme files are replaced with l10n (edited by Jerome Neuveglise).

I’m trying to get digg it working on my site by adding Social Media Buttons. But I don’t know what to type into the url section to have it digg the post. I’m using the Notepad Options but I can’t figure out how to make the digg Social Media Button work. Any help would be great!

Hello,
I try install notepad theme from wordpress.org and I see version 1.3 (there are no notepad theme option and there are no media social bookmark)
But I download theme from this site, I see version 1.2
So, I have to use theme from this sites or from wordpress.org?

Please download the version on this site. The version number on the wordpress.org theme directory is not accurate. In order to replace files in the theme directory, you have to up the version number. So, the latest version should be on this site.

the notepad theme… I downloaded it fine but I can not see how it can be installed at wordpress.com. Do I need a privately hosted site to use that template??

Are there any issues with the 3 footer widget areas? I’ve put widgets into them, but none of them display. Do I need to change a setting anywhere to display them?

– it seems to be not possible to exclude in menu more than one page via the option page … I’ve entered a comma-separated list of pages, but only the first one is excluded … How does it work ?
– another question : I’d like to see “Contact” instead of “Email” in the social buttons … i changed “Email” for “Contact” in the editor, but it doesn’t work, there’s always “Email” on the page !?!

Hi I might be doing something stupidly simple wrong but I cant modify the social buttons cloud above the main menu bar. The options page is wrongly rendered and the buttons to add/remove button are replaced by text only strings. Any advice?

How do I download the correct version from this site? I used the one on WordPress, and I am not getting all of the social media icons under the header like I see in the demo. Only the RSS button/icon showed up. I would also like Facebook, Twitter, and possibly one for contacting me via email. Thank you for your help. I love the Notepad theme.
