Best Web Gallery Rebuilt

After several weeks of hard work, I finally completed rebuilding one of my projects, Best Web Gallery. Note, it is a rebuild, not redesign. I literally went to every single site in the gallery and re-captured the screenshots. Now Best Web Gallery is powered by the latest release of WordPress 2.3. Beside of the WordPress upgrade, I also added many new features such as image tooltip, different display modes (thumbnails, full image, and detailed mode), open external link options, and tag cloud. Check out the gallery now and let me know your feedbacks.

I think there should be gaps between each site in the horizontal and list views, but besides that its nice.

The reason why there are no content in the RSS feed because now I’m using WordPress Custom Fields and they don’t output to RSS. Anyone know how to get the Custom Fields to include in the RSS?

the new view features are great and the overall design is better, but like what everyone else says, im dying to see the shots in the feed. Also there seems to be many more ads all over, not that its a big deal i guess

Hey mate,
I’ve been a long time visitor to the gallery. I love the rebuild, I think it looks fantastic and oozes that sense of beauty and usability that the site aims to showcase.
The one thing that I think the original version did better though was the gallery grid view. I preferred the 3×4 grid over the 2×6, it was quicker to browse.
Keep up the great work!

I love the new design! It’s a lot more professional! Only a few advices:
- the thumbnails show to less view
- the tool-tip also shows to less of the site and comes forward to slow
Those are the only things I would change ;)
