iTheme and CSS Dock Menu

Filed in: News & Updates Jump to comments

After I released the CSS Dock Menu, a lot of people have asked me how to implement it into iTheme. I have put them together. Unfortunately, CSS Dock Menu does not work properly with iTheme in Mac Safari. It works in Internet Explorer, Opera and Firefox. There are some bugs with Mac Safari, it doesn’t animate properly. Since it is not fully compatible with all browsers yet, I’m not going to release a public download. Maybe you can download the beta version and help me to sort it out.

Using the itheme on a wordpress hosted site, but wondering how to change the size of the sidebar without everything dissapearing? Which files of the css/php need to be modified if possible? Thanks!! Love the theme!

Thanks for sharing the beta version. I tried implementing it in a testsite and it worked fine in FF. Smoothly! Thanks.

I love your iTheme, but as I am also a fan of Microsoft products I started tramsforming your iTheme into a Vista theme. Please let me know if you like the result.

Hi! I´m interessed in use your theme but I´ve found that IE6 can´t use png files with transparency. You fix it with gif files but, there isn´t any way to make the png transparency works? I´ve tried some ways like iepngfix and other codes but still doesn´t work. Any idea please¡¡¡¡ Thanks and excuse my english¡¡

Well, the good news is that it animated properly with the new Safari 3.0 beta. After all, they’ve overhauled a lot of the CSS support in the browser - so good news!

Hey. Loving the iTheme! Thankyou. I’ve decided to try out the version with the dock and i’m confused by something. I view the page source and I can see the dock is supposed to be there but it isn’t and I dont know why. Any ideas?

Your theme is great looking. I have download it and use it. It is possible to make it a little wider? I mean to fix it on 900 px or 1024 px?
    many thanks

I like this theme a lot and am currently using it. I have just one question: I would like to make the link color in posts just a few shades darker, but I can’t find where the link color specification is.

I’m no expert when it comes to this sort of thing, so can anyone tell me where it can be found (as specifically as possible, please)?

    Thanks!
