iTheme and CSS Dock Menu
May 26th, 2007 Filed in: News & Updates Jump to commentsAfter I released the CSS Dock Menu, a lot of people have asked me how to implement it into iTheme. I have put them together. Unfortunately, CSS Dock Menu does not work properly with iTheme in Mac Safari. It works in Internet Explorer, Opera and Firefox. There are some bugs with Mac Safari, it doesn’t animate properly. Since it is not fully compatible with all browsers yet, I’m not going to release a public download. Maybe you can download the beta version and help me to sort it out.

I hoped css dock could be seen static like header M3 blog on http://nugi.blog.m3-access.com.
Could we make css dock like that?
So although we scroll down or up, css dock always on top.

Nick, its not working in FF. when i moved my mouse on images of menu, it didnt zoom but when i moved my mouse around 100px above from menu. it tried to zoom. check it our man.

[…] 自从我在N.Design Studio上看到iTheme和CSS Dock Menu以后，我就一直在琢磨着如何把两者结合在一起。不过好像有这种想法的人不止我一个，N.Design Studio的站长终于受不了众人的鼓动，在昨天（26日）公布了带有CSS Dock Menu的iTheme。不过站长本人好像对自己的作品不是很满意，因为它并不是对所有浏览器都支持。我通过他提供的预览体验了一下，发现与我设想的有些不一样。我之前一直以为能够把这个仿Mac OS的菜单悬浮在浏览器窗口的底部，不管网页如何上下滚动，它始终出现在窗口的固定位置上。但这个预览显示出的结果是，这个菜单只能固定在页面的底部，也就是只有把网页滚动到页底才能见到它。感觉这样反而有些鸡肋，要是能再完善一下就好了！ […]

Interesting… Javascript does have many negative effects on other Javascripts. Many times when I try to run a script inside of a script the first one blocks the second. Maybe try to use a different form of scripting for the second javascript?
