iTheme IE Bugs Fixed

Filed in: News & Updates Jump to comments

Fixed iTheme Most of you should probably notice there are some Internet Explorer 6 bugs (CSS rendering issues) in my iTheme. I finally fixed those IE6 bugs by re-designing the theme and CSS styles. Instead of displaying the file icon of each post, it is now displaying the date in a calendar icon, which is very similar to GlossyBlue theme. Also the comment list is now using gray background color instead of color stroke. Download the updated iTheme or preview WordPress Demo.

Upcoming Features

Here are some of the cool features that I want to add to the future release of iTheme:

  • CSS style switcher
  • Ajax live search
  • Ajax comments
  • Mac style CSS dock menu
  • Any suggestions?

Thanks Matt, I took your advise and uploaded a fresh copy. It now works perfectly. Thanks again.

Love the theme! Great job. I am fairly new to this and I have one question…

How do I change the META info? I would like to add a “Register” and “Admin” link.

    Thank you.

Naomi- I looked at your site, and it doesn’t look like the calendar.gif or the mini-category.gif icon are loading. Make sure you didn’t delete them when you made other changes to the images. They should be in the images folder with the rest. You might be able to fix it just by re-uploading those two images. If they’re where they’re supposed to be, though, check your style.css. The call for the calendar icon is listed under ‘.post .date’, and the call for the mini-category icon is under ‘.postdata .category’.

If those are correct, you may need to re-download the whole zip to get a ‘fresh start’. Looks like you’ve done some extensive alterations. You may have gotten rid of something without realizing it.

Thank you! The last fix did it, and the calendar icon kind of set the dot over the i. :) I will keep following your work. BTW someone should yell at maxspeeds for copying your work.. I recent maxspeeds’ copying.

    Robin,

I can confirm what you’re seeing — the button width needs to be increased from 24 to 36 pixels to see the word “Go” in Safari. This is an easy tweak, and doesn’t seem to break anything in other browsers.

Sorry, but this is nothing to do with this, but i have just come accross a site that looks extremly like ndesign-studio. The theme and everything. Have a look round the site…

    http://www.maxspeeds.com

It looks like a replica of n design studio but without the good graphics at the top.
