iTheme IE Bugs Fixed
April 25th, 2007 Filed in: News & Updates Jump to comments
Most of you should probably notice there are some Internet Explorer 6 bugs (CSS rendering issues) in my iTheme. I finally fixed those IE6 bugs by re-designing the theme and CSS styles. Instead of displaying the file icon of each post, it is now displaying the date in a calendar icon, which is very similar to GlossyBlue theme. Also the comment list is now using gray background color instead of color stroke. Download the updated iTheme or preview WordPress Demo.
Upcoming Features
Here are some of the cool features that I want to add to the future release of iTheme:
- CSS style switcher
- Ajax live search
- Ajax comments
- Mac style CSS dock menu
- Any suggestions?

I’ve also been interested in placing a custom banner graphic where the main title would go. Where in the CSS can I insert the location of the title jpg?

Is there any way to display the year at the bottom of the calendar icon?

This theme really kicks ass!
What about tag support (like UTW or Simple Tagging) for the next release? ;-)

well frankly speaking, i am not as much impressed with itheme as i am impressed with phoenix, please dont have it different way, i am compairing now. Phoenix is really a great work, its a beautiful combination of design and codings, both. I was trying to figure out how you made it and its really a mistry for me. Your work is solid.

I very like this amazing theme! But I have a question: When you’ve installed this theme you’ve got on the right ‘Categories’, ‘Archives’, ‘Links’ and ‘Meta’. When I see the Demo you’ve got also ‘Theme Switcher’ and ‘Feed from N.Design’. How can I add this too??
Thanks in advance.

Robin — your site looks fine in Safari and Firefox on my MacBook Pro running OS X 10.4.9. In IE, it’s got the usual problems for the theme. Hopefully Nick can free up a bit of time to chase these…
Annmolly — iTheme doesn’t seem to support Recent Posts / Recently Commented / About in the footer, but the GlossyBlue theme does. Maybe somebody can put pieces of the two themes together to make a “frankentheme” that does this for you? I’d take a run at it , but I’m spending my time trying to modify iTheme to make a fluid-width variant…
