See You at the FOWD Event

First, I would like to thank Carsonified and Lisa Price (marketing director of Carsonified), who offered a free admission to this year hottest design event — Future of Web Design, New York 2007. For those who don’t know about the FOWD event, it is a design event and workshop organized by Carsonified. They also organize many other events, visit their website for more details. Anyway, if you are going to the event, feel free to contact me and perhaps we can meet up. And if you haven’t registered, it is still not too late yet (couple days left).

FOWD was such a great disappointment, the location was so bad, the video could not be displayed because of the sun, so the presenters could not even show anything, the sound was horrible, and most of the presentations (part for Jonathan Snook) were boring and extremely shallow. A wasted day, if you ask me…

BTW, I also heard about another event, the Singapore Design Festival. Sounds like another interesting one for us designers and design enthusiasts alike. :) You can go check out their website at www.singaporedesignfestival.com

Oh my! That would be an interesting event to go to. Though I dont really have the money or abilitiy to get there! Feel pity for me!
