Building a Better WordPress Theme

Want to build a custom and dynamic WordPress theme as seen on my sites: N.Design Studio, Web Designer Wall, and Best Web Gallery? These Tips are great. I now use the conditional tage, and would be lost without them. Do you ever use page templates? I noticed all of you Pages (on Ndesign) have different layout, and thought this would be hard to achieve with WYSIWYG editor.
