iTheme Release
April 7th, 2007 Filed in: WordPress, News & Updates Jump to comments
Many people have been waiting for this WordPress theme for a while and I’m very proud that iTheme has finally released. iTheme is a WordPress theme that is specially designed for the Mac OS lovers. The best part about this theme is the customizable sidebar. You can drag & drop each box to rearrange the way you like or simply collapse it to hide the content you don’t want to see. It will store the state of each box in a cookie, this means it will remember your preference next time you come back. Check out my WordPress Demo to preview. Download iTheme now and let me know me your feedbacks. This is an initial release, comments and suggestions are welcome to post here.

Post #111 - fixed. IE6 was not handling a picture in one of my posts that was apparently too large. Firefox, Safari, and IE7 cropped the photo, but IE6 showed the entire photo, forcing the resizing of the post area out to the right. I reduced the size of the picture and everything looks as expected in all browsers.

Matt,
Looking at the media that is being loaded by your site via Firefox/Tools/Page Info, yours doesn’t seem to be loading all of the graphics elements of the theme - the main one being sidep-toggle.png
I can see that it exists in http://www.lightreaders.com/home/wp-content/themes/itheme/images/sidep-toggle.png
but for some reason they are not being loaded, which makes me think the dbx scripts and css are either corrupted, missing or you’ve changed something from default in the theme.
If you haven’t already - try deleting the whole itheme directory on your site, re-uploading it and seeing what happens.
Regards,
Shane.

To Chris #110, I’m having the same problem with the sidebar, though you seem to have worked yours out. I’m able to move your sidebar boxes around.
Still having trouble with mine, though. Someone help, please!
Chris, to add author credit, add this line to your index.php file:

First, this is an awesome theme. But I definitely get different results based on browser.
OSX/Safari - perfect
OSX/Firefox - perfect
WinXP/Firefox - perfect
WinXP/IE7 - perfect
WinXP/IE6 - the sidebar is at the bottom of the pagae and the post area bleeds over in to where thesidebar is usually located.
Anywhere official to go for help?

Nick,
Can’t figure out why I can’t move sidebars. I don’t get the little circle in the corner of them either. Also would like the posts to list the author. I have seen it on other themes.
This is an amazing theme none the less!

THis is the WP Press theme I’ve been searching for. Thanks!
You know, throw some Open Office widgets on here and multilayers of ajax for window management, you probably got a prototype for a web-based OS on your hands.

Nikita,
I use the Feeburner Feed Replacement Plugin - makes it easy and seamless.

I love the theme and edited a little bit…I’m wondering how can I change the feed location? I want my feed to run through feedburner, but it’s now seems to use the direct feed…
