iTheme Release

iTheme

Many people have been waiting for this WordPress theme for a while and I’m very proud that iTheme has finally released. iTheme is a WordPress theme that is specially designed for the Mac OS lovers. The best part about this theme is the customizable sidebar. You can drag & drop each box to rearrange the way you like or simply collapse it to hide the content you don’t want to see. It will store the state of each box in a cookie, this means it will remember your preference next time you come back. Check out my WordPress Demo to preview. Download iTheme now and let me know me your feedbacks. This is an initial release, comments and suggestions are welcome to post here.

I’ve read the other posts here, and WP info on headers, but my header.php file looks nothing like I’m reading it should. There is a large blank space, followed by a blue “Home”, then just seven lines of type that don’t look like any header file I’ve seen elsewhere. So I can’t add meta text or replace my header properly. I downloaded again, but same file. Am I crazy? How do I replace the header in this file?

Curly- More of a general wordpress question, here’s a link to the answer. The short version is that you can’t have complete control.

But! I found a plugin that should allow you to do it without rebuilding everything from the ground up. I haven’t needed to try it personally, but try this one.

Also, this scheduler widget is awesome. Maybe that could open up some room on the menu bar.

Just noticed two interesting…features (maybe they’re bugs, maybe not).

    1) In the index page view, blog posts display their dates, but no categories.

    2) In the individual post view, posts display their categories, but no date.

Maybe the easiest way around this is to use the little calendar page icons from the GlossyBlue theme to mark each blog post (in either view), while keeping the categories listed under the title.

    My $0.02,

    Sam

I really like this theme! Thanks so much for creating it. My question is: How do I change the order of how the pages appear on the navigation bar on top? Any help would be very much appreciated.

    To Martin:

This theme is without Widget plugin. If you want to add items to the sidebar, you should try Sidebar Widget or modify the “sidebar.php” in your theme folder manually.

Nice theme and I use it, but… how to add items to the sidebar? I cannot see an interface for the integration of common widgets like Daiko’s Video Widget - and cannot find a readme.txt which should explain how to integrate anything in the sidebar.php, between the tags:

    NAME

    ???????????????????

    Thank you for any help!

I add categories and it still says NO CATEGORIES. Why is this?
