iTheme Release
April 7th, 2007 Filed in: WordPress, News & Updates Jump to comments
Many people have been waiting for this WordPress theme for a while and I’m very proud that iTheme has finally released. iTheme is a WordPress theme that is specially designed for the Mac OS lovers. The best part about this theme is the customizable sidebar. You can drag & drop each box to rearrange the way you like or simply collapse it to hide the content you don’t want to see. It will store the state of each box in a cookie, this means it will remember your preference next time you come back. Check out my WordPress Demo to preview. Download iTheme now and let me know me your feedbacks. This is an initial release, comments and suggestions are welcome to post here.

Love this theme! I’ve made several cosmetic changes to the theme on my site but I am unable to really change the blockquote style in css. I’m not versed in css but it seems like basic tags besides border, margin and padding don’t work. Here’s what I have in the style.css file for blockquotes. Could you explain why the color tag under blockquote is overrided by the p class?
blockquote {
border-left: 2px solid #ccc;
margin-left: 1.5em;
padding-left: 5px;
color:#ccc;
}

WordPress 2.3.1 and iTheme don’t like each other (b0rked?)
1) Text in text widget does not wrap and forces widgets to bottom of page. It wraps in every other theme I’ve tried.
2) If links in links (blogroll) widget is too wide, widgets forced to bottom of page. Other themes will automatically wrap onto another line.
3) Tags in Tag cloud widget is one long line, seemingly going off the right side of the page to infinity. No text wrap.
4) Recent comments and recent posts widgets - no text wrap either with same result with stuff too wide for widget.
Basically I could just list all the widgets with the same problem.

I like this theme very much, but i got a problem…
when using the plugin called wp-syntax on this theme, the scrolling dosent work, and neither do the borders show, please fix it as it is quite important in my blog.
Also, is it possible to make the white background semi transparent?
