WordPress Makes My Life Easier

I remember back in the older version when I was using static HTML pages, it was such a pain to update my site. Every time I updated my site, I needed to replace all HTML files on the server and eventually I got tired updating my site. So I went around search for a good content management system (CMS) and I found WordPress! It is such a great blogging and simple CMS tool.
WordPress was originally designed for weblog (blog) purpose, but with some extra plugins, I turned it into a simple content management tool to manage my site. Now I can focus on writing content instead of wasting my time on site maintenance. WordPress is very user-friendly and easy to learn. It makes designers’ life (like me) so much easier. You don’t even need to know PHP programming to customize the template. The most you need to know is probably basic PHP include function and HTML coding. There are tons of free plugins and themes available for download to enchant the default WordPress’s features. Check out the plugins I used on this site.

I love WordPress! And almost every one I have scene create themes have done kick ass jobs, Such as your self.

I’ve been searching an easy system for my site, since I’m new to web development, and I think you’ve opened my eyes.

You have me throughly interested in using wordpress now also as a CMS. Maybe a tutorial on themes and templates for us newbies?

Its been over a year since you posted this, and a lot has happened in the CMS world since. Have you considered bringing your skills to the Drupal world?

I know the feeling when you are editing pages for ages only to get the layout exactly as you want. I use wordpress as well and it is so easy. I also used Joomla which is similar but is also good to use for people (like me) who are nog PHP guru.

Thoroughly agree with your post. I’m running Wordpress on three blogs and am now up to version 2.5.1
It’s so easy to use and brings the whole concept of building a website to everybody.

Wordpress makes everything easier when creating layouts for sites and everything… even if you have no expert knowledge about it .. it is still great because of the theme/templates!

wordpress has improved a lot since this post was made :) anyhow its still good to stay in touch.
