It has been a while since the last time I touched this site. I thought I should write something here to tell you that I’m still alive. In fact, I have been very busy working on a new site. It is going to be another WordPress powered site. Of course, the content will be design related - CSS, design tutorials, WordPress, web trends & technology, etc. I can’t tell you too much secrets since it is not officially launched yet. The image above is captured from different sections of the design layout. I’ve put a lot of thoughts and research on it and I believe it is one of my best design. Just stay tuned, I will announce the launch very soon. Read on…

So, what is the next web trend after the Web 2.0 trend? Steal. I’ve been noticing this trend for a while and in fact it is rising. Rippers now on the Internet steal anything from text content, graphics, icons, design templates, to coding scripts. Almost every other week, I get an email from visitors telling me who stole my work. Last week I received an email from Adobe Illustrator’s product manager, Phil Guindi, who introduced me a new CS3 feature called knowhow. It is “a technology preview that delivers single-click, contextual access to relevant help information from a panel in Adobe CS3.” You can find the knowhow panel by going to menu Window > Adobe Labs > knowhow (yes, it is very hidden). When you select a tool, knowhow panel will instantly display the information about the tool and tell you how to use it. In other word, knowhow is a live help panel. Here I will show you how to use knowhow and please share your thoughts. Read on…

I’m very excited to announce that I have found a new host. First, I would like to thank ImHosted for the hosting sponsorship. If you are looking for a host, give them a try. They have very good shared hosting plans. Second, I need to give a big thanks to John at DreamTemplate, who setup the sponsorship and helped me to transfer my sites to the new server. I notice my sites load faster now since I’m on a dedicated server. I received several emails regarding the "404 file found" errors. I apologize for this because I missed a folder while transferring the files. If you were trying to download stuffs from my site, please try again. All files should be available now. If you find any other bugs, please send me an email. Also, I lost a couple comments during DNS transfer. If you have posted a comment and can’t find it, please post again. Read on…
